You will confirm the right Dayforce permissions, allow access to the employee data needed for your connection, and securely connect your Dayforce account to Clarity.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Make sure the Dayforce role you are configuring is set as the Default role for the user completing the connection. Go to System Admin > User, open the user, and select Is Default for that role.
1

In Dayforce, go to:

System Admin > Roles > Features
Open the role Features tab and confirm HCM Anywhere and Web Services are enabled.

Confirm the following are enabled:

ONLY IF YOUR CONNECTION REQUIRES WRITE ACCESS
Enable HCM Anywhere > Web Services > Patch/Post Employee HR Data. If your connection is read-only, you can skip this setting.
3

Confirm Organization Access

Go to:

System Admin > User

For the user that will authenticate the connection:

  • Confirm Can See Self is enabled.
